woman sitting in wooded area in red, used HDR efex pro 2 by nik , to get the effect think its call deep efex -2 the sun shone through the trees at just the right moment for a few seconds ,don’t normally do colour but am happy with the look of this ,have a couple of b/w of it as well, old habits etc :-))

  1. Really like this image. Beautiful rich colour, very tranquil relaxed atmosphere. Meditative.
    HDR as it should be. When HDR first appeared i thought it seemed like a good idea, rapidly got so fed up with the technicolor nuclear monstrosities that are normaly published in the photo press and exhibited that i have never touched it. This on the other hand is not even noticeably HDR. In fact it reminds me of the lovely rich colours we got with colour transparencies in my many years of shooting reversal film. Maybe i will give it a try one day.
    Technical stuff aside. The main thing is it’s a beautiful image.

    • hi stuart sorry for the delay in replaying to you and not have a chance to chat the other night ,joys of baby sitting ,glad you like the picture it was taken at westbury arts centre and is one of the artist there , loved your pictures from the dance hope you enjoyed the tempest with in and got some good pics , see you soon ..legge

      • Thanks. Enjoyed the dance very much. Photos i need to take less but be a bit more careful ! Really like your shots of the evening. Did not take many shots of The Tempest, began to get embarrassed by the “crash” from the shutter, even in “silent (!) mode” I need one of those Fujis. Catch up soon i hope.
