tribute to manray
man ray is one of my favourite photographers I just like the way he worked and his sense of humour , this is I suppose one of his most famous pics the Le Violon d’Ingres (Ingres’s Violin) Man Ray was an admirer of the paintings of Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres and made a series of photographs, inspired by Ingres’s languorous nudes, of the model Kiki in a turban, so this is my tribute to man ray one of hero’s.did one black-white and one with a hint of colour as did man ray ,but he did a range of colours The landscape one is me having a bit of fun in photo-shop .the F holes were added via photo shop as I can’t draw at all , lighting was from the window behind me at 50 sec F-10 400 asa ..

ok it’s not really a frog but some one wearing a frog mask, it’s the artist with a mask she created for a production, and the frog is called “anguish” putting two photograph up as not sure which one i like best, i like the one of her standing up in the hallway, but the artist prefers the one of her sitting down on the stairs …her blog

this is a flower from my mum’s garden I took the other day ,while trying to photograph a small bug on another flower ,but as the bug spend all its time with its back to me , I give up after 15 mins a took this pic instead , not the greatest by a long shot at macro-photography but do in joy doing it ..will give the bug another go in a few days time ,it may face me this time

took this last year in france in the early morning light , just happen to walk out of a gite where I was staying and saw the picture , so took a couple quickly as the light was changing very fast , have just used nik software HRD software to change the colour a tad …
